Dans le cadre des cérémonies du Souvenir dédiées aux équipages du 550 Squadron, une commémoration a eu lieu, le samedi 31 mai, à Sint-Niklaas. Cette célébration a été très bien organisée, et un public nombreux y assistait.
Suite à l'hommage rendu au cimetière communal de la ville, une réception était organisée par les autorités de la ville, à l'Hôtel de Ville de Sint-Niklaas.
Le Bourgmestre et l'Ambassadeur du Canada ont rappelé l'importance du devoir de mémoire et Jack Harris, Président de l'association du 550e Squadron a également prononcé un discours.
Des cadeaux ont été échangé, et certaines personnes ont reçu des organisateur de la cérémonie un tableau mentionnant le rôle de l'équipage qui a périt à Sint-Niklaas, le 22 mai 1944, orné d'une croix réalisée dans un fragment de l'avion LL 851-BQ-V.

Within the framework of the ceremonies of the Memory dedicated to the crews of 550 Squadron, a remembrance took place, on Saturday, May 31st, to Sint-Niklaas. This celebration was very well organized, and a public numerous assisted it.
The Mayor and the Ambassador of Canada reminded the importance of the duty of remembrance and Jack Harris, President of the association of the 550th Squadron also pronounced a speech.
Presents were shared, and certain people received from the organizer of the ceremony a picture mentioning the role of the crew which has dies to Sint-Niklaas, May 22nd, 1944, decorated with a cross realized in a fragment of the plane LL 851-BQ-V.
