Vendredi 22 août 2014, cent ans jour pour jour après le crash dans lequel, Charles Bayly et Vincent Waterfall ont été tués, une cérémonie d'hommage leur était rendue au cimetière de Tournai, où les deux jeunes aviateurs reposent désormais.
Plusieurs associations patriotiques de la région de Tournai, d'Enghien, d'Ath et de Rebecq étaient représentées, ainsi que la Royal Air Forces Association, la Royal British Legion et la Western Front Association. Son Excellence Madame Alison Rose, Ambassadeur du Royaume-Uni en Belgique et Monsieur Rudy Demotte, Bourgmestre de Tournai assistaient à cet hommage, ainsi qu'une délégation du Collège communal de la ville d'Enghien, où s'est passé le crash, voici un siècle.
Plusieurs membres de la famille des deux pilotes avaient tenu à être présents à cette occasion, ainsi que les initiateurs du mémorial à la mémoire des deux pilotes, dont Monsieur Louis Darbé, de Marcq. Ce monument sera inauguré à Marcq-Enghien, au lendemain de l'hommage à Tournai.

On Friday, August 22nd, 2014, hundred years to the day after the crash in which, Charles Bayly and Vincent Waterfall were killed, a ceremony of tribute was returned to them to the cemetery of Tournai, where two young airmen rest from now on.
